Midway Transitional Solutions offer supportive and individualised packages. It’s our aim to offer a homely environment within a specialised children’s home setting, with a highly experienced and motivated team, who will work closely with the young people to support them to integrate successfully into society. At Midway Transitional Solutions we believe that all young people should be given the same opportunities in life regardless of their experiences, disability, age or sexuality.

Midway Transitional Solutions offers a range of supportive services including residential care, gate education support, leaving care assistance, and outreach programmes. Their work focuses on providing practical, person-centred support to help individuals build confidence, develop life skills, and move successfully toward greater independence.
Our Homes
Transitional Solutions’ homes provide safe, supportive residential environments where individuals can feel secure while working toward independence. Each home offers structured, person-centred support tailored to individual needs, helping residents build life skills, stability, and confidence for the next stage of their journey.
Who We Have Worked With
Who we have worked with many local authorities across South Wales - We at Midway work with many local authorities across South Wales, from Torfaen RCT, Caerphilly, Swansea, Monmouthshire, Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff, Port Talbot, Newport, Blaenau Gwent, to name a few. We have also worked with the Children's Commissioning Consortium Cymru (4Cs).
Referrals
Midway Transitional Solutions welcomes referrals from professionals, families, and partner agencies. We work collaboratively to ensure each individual is assessed promptly and matched with the most appropriate support, providing a clear and supportive pathway into our services.
Medium Employer of the Year
Earlier this year, Midway Transitional Solutions was recognised at the annual Success Through Skills Awards. The awards, which were hosted by training providers ACT and ALS, and took place at Cardiff and Value College, celebrate learners, tutors, employers and businesses who have helped promote work-based learning across Wales.
The awards were created to recognise the importance of apprenticeships and work-based learning, not just as a valid education and career pathway for individuals but as an operational tool for employers.
Midway was recognised in the Medium Employers of the Year category. As well as recognising the outstanding care and support Midway provide children and young people through its approach to wellbeing, education and essential life skills, the organisation was also praised for its dedication to staff development. Judges were particularly impressed by Midway’s consistently high qualification attainment and its strong promotion-from-within ethos.
