Whilst living at Mere Path the children and young people can receive a number of services identified as being required to fully meet their needs. The home is set out that children and young people who live at Mere Path live in a homely environment. The home gives the child or young person the opportunity to live as a small family like unit within a residential community.
An individual personal plan that is regularly updated and is overseen by the manager
Appropriate therapeutic interventions if identified from suitably qualified personnel
This may be local government or private
The preparation and provision of an integrated care package, tailored to individual needs, to include full risk assessments
The development of pathway plans for children over 16 focusing on life skills, further education and career aspirations
Support in maintaining mainstream school or college attendance.
Preparation of future placements, prior to discharge from the home
Encouragement and support in developing their own interests and activities within the local community.
